promises are pieces of bullshit that is used

half the time to put a smile on your face

sweeten your heart

and eventually achy breaky them

including your heart in it

it's just like a full package

a strong promise kept from the start

then come the few occasions you gave in

then followed by silence to see if the promise is kept

then this

pure disbelief at the once strong promise

promises really are bullshits to me now

it's proven for years

that i have to live without them

of course promises are sweet

sweet things turn bad one day too

does everything has an expiry date?

i have yet to find out...
